Monroe, Kampman ready to return for Jags
The Jacksonville Jaguars may be about to get a couple of key players back from injuries, as tackle Eugene Monroe and defensive end Aaron Kampman were both on the practice field Wednesday.
Monroe played only on place-kicks for field goals and extra points against the New Orleans Saints due to a shoulder and neck injury, but was a full participant on Wednesday and will see how he feels after today's padded practice, according to the Jacksonville Times-Union.
Kampman is making his way back from a second torn ACL in his career, one suffered last year af the season's midway point.
"I still think it's one of those things that I'm trying to earn my way back," Kampman said. "It doesn't guarantee me anything. I have to continue to make strides, but I'm definitely closer now than I was a couple of weeks ago."
