Mora: A little Tebowmania hits UCLA
Reports that Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has landed in Los Angeles to work out with UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone on his throwing mechanics and footwork has touched off a bit of a frenzy on campus.
UCLA coach Jim Mora Jr. tells ESPNLosAngeles that Tebowmania has sparked a bit in Southern California in the Westwood area because of the quarterback's presence on campus.
"There's a little Tebow-mania going on here on the UCLA campus," Mora said. "There's a few more girls hanging around the football office and the football field that there typically are."
For Mora, who is trying to rebuild the Bruins and somehow break the stranglehold that rival USC has on football in Los Angeles, he'll take what he can get, even if it is in temporary form from a visiting NFL star in Tebow.
