Morris Claiborne has torn patellar tendon
Morris Claiborne's season came to a premature end as he tore his patellar tendon in Sunday's win over the Saints, Cowboys COO Stephen Jones said on Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan.
The Cowboys cornerback, a former sixth-overall pick, hasn't seen his career get off to a good start. He's endured a lot of struggles on the field and hasn't lived up to expectations.
Now he won't have a chance to prove the Dallas brass wrong by improving his play throughout the season. He'll now head to injured reserve and work on rehabbing his injury.
