MRI confirms Reggie Wayne tore ACL
The Colts received the news they feared, which was that receiver Reggie Wayne tore his ACL.
An MRI confirmed Wayne tore his ACL while attempting to catch a low pass from quarterback Andrew Luck, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Wayne leads the Colts in receiving yards with 503, as his presence will be missed for the remainder of the season.
T.Y. Hilton will become Luck's top option from here on. For the season, Hilton has caught 27 passes for 412 yards and two touchdowns.
