Mularkey's son joins Jaguars coaching staff
New Jacksonville Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey didn't have to look far to find who he wanted as an additional assistant strength and conditioning coach, moving his son Patrick into the role, says the Florida Times-Union.
Patrick Mularkey had already been on the Jaguars payroll the past two years, working in the team's personnel department. He does have a strength and conditioning background, however, having interned in that area with the Atlanta Falcons in 2008.
The younger Mularkey will be third in the pecking order in the weightroom, as he will work for new strength and conditioning coach Tom Myslinski and assistant strength and conditioning coach John Hingst.
