Nate Allen detained, released by police with no charges

Philadelphia Eagles free agent safety Nate Allen was detained by police in Ft. Myers, Fla and released with no charges due to inconclusive evidence. According to CSN Philadelphia, Allen was stopped by police and brought in for questioning after eating at a Red Lobster. Allen was accused by a 16-year-old girl of indecent exposure, but the accuser's story changed multiple times and he was released. Per the report, Allen is "shaken and embarrassed" and vows to clear his name and said "someone definitely lied." Allen has played for the Eagles for five seasons. He had four interceptions last season, 10 interceptions in five seasons. Allen is a former second-round draft pick.
