Nate Potter practicing at guard
Looking for versatility on their offensive line, the Arizona Cardinals have been using second-year left tackle Nate Potter at guard in practice.
Potter started six games at left tackle last season and hasn't played guard since high school.
But Arizona coach Bruce Arians believes Potter has the potential to play the position, and definitely wants him ready for the spot in case he's needed to fill in due to injury.
"He’s got the potential and he’s smart enough to be a four-man rotational guy,” Arians said, via azcentral.com. “He can play both sides. He already knows how to play both tackles from his experience in the spring. Now we’ll get him ready to play guard.”
