Next for Vikes: Ray Edwards should sign RFA tender

Now that the Minnesota Vikings have wrapped up their mandatory veteran minicamp, Ray Edwards ought to get around to putting his John Hancock on the one-year tender offer the club gave him as a restricted free agent sometime in the next 24 hours or so.

Edwards chose to express his displeasure over his contract status by taking a pass on minicamp. Unlike Adrian Peterson, it wasn’t mandatory for Edwards because he was not under contract.
