NFL Draft Picks 17-32

   Pick (Rnd)

17 (1)

San Francisco

Arik Armstead, DE, Oregon

San Fransisco is running a new defensive scheme this year, and have decided to bolster their pass rush attack with the 6'7" end.

18 (1)

Kansas City

Marcus Peters, CB, Washington

One of the most talented players in the draft. Had some off the field issues that caused his stock to fall out of the top 15. Hit or miss for the Chiefs.

19 (1)

Cameron Erving, C, Florida St.

The Browns have had some serious offensive issues in the past couple years. This addition to the offensive line should help both their passing, and running game.

20 (1)

Nelson Agholor, WR, USC

Lots of question marks for what Chip Kelly was going to do here. They decide to pick Jeremy Maclin's replacement with Agholor who can line up outside, in the slot, and can also return kicks.

21 (1)

Cedric Ogbeuhi, OT, Texas A&M

Many thought Ogbeuhi had top 10 potential. His measurables are one of the best in his class, but needs some coaching and time to refine his skills. Can eventually be a pro bowl tackle run blocking for the duo of Gio Bernard, and Jeremy Hill.

22 (1)

Bud Dupree, OLB, Kentucky

With Ben Roethlisberger seeming to get better with age, the Steelers needed to address the gaping whole at linebacker in their 3-4 defensive scheme. Dupree, arguably the most athletic outside linebacker in the draft, has the potential to go down as the next great steeler linebacker.

23 (1)

Shane Ray, DE, Missouri

Another fantasic player to the already talented Broncos defense. Ray will ultimatley be the replacement for Demarcus Ware, and in the meantime can learn from him. A couple off the field issues including a citation for marijuana earlier this week have caused him to drop to the 23rd pick, when he was a consensus top 10 pick in the previous mock drafts.

24 (1)

D.J. Humphries, OT, Florida

Humphries was believed to actually underachieve relative to his level of talent. Draft experts attribute that to a nagging high ankle sprain that plagued him for most of the 2014 season. Although, If anyone can bring out the potential that Humphries has, its Bruce Arians.

25 (1)

Shaq Thompson, OLB, Washington

This versitile outisde lanebacker has the physical tools to become an NFL safety. In fact, he even played some running back in his college career. Thompson will instantly be one of the best special teams players in the league, and make take a little time to have a significant impact on defense.

26 (1)

Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF

With the departure of wide recievers Jacoby Jones, and Torrey Smith, the Ravens pick up the faster player in 2015 NFL draft class. New offensive coodinator Marc Trestman has a very athletic new tool to work with.

27 (1)

Byron Jones, CB, UCONN

The most athletic player in this class. His broad jump of 12'3" at the NFL combine would have been a world record at an offical meet. The strong wide reciever corps of the Green Bay Packers were the reason the Cowboys were elinimated from the playoffs last year. The addition of Jones is a great step to fixing those issues.

28 (1)

Laken Tomlinson, G, Duke

Laken Tomlinson, a Chicago product was taken by Detroit to combat the strong defensive lines in the NFC North. Tomlinson's specicaly, run blocking, will take some pressure off the Calvin Johnson, Matt Stafford duo,

29 (1)

Phillip Dorsett, WR, Miami

A great addition for the Colts to help out their star QB Andrew Luck. Blazing speed, and good hands has the potential to be a dynamic duo with Luck for many years.

30 (1)

Green Bay

Damarious Randall, S, ASU

For the second straight year the Packers opt to bolster their Secondary. The Packers have had one of the best offensives in the NFL in the past 5 year. If their coaching staff can figure out the defensive problems, the Packers could be condenting for another Super Bowl Title.

31 (1)

New Orleans

Stephone Anthony, ILB, Clemson

Had one of the best combines for linebackers. Anthony has had some documented on field communication isssues, but if he can find a way to work past that, has as much talent as anyone in this draft, and can become a force in this league.

32 (1)

New England

Malcom Brown, DT, Texas

A strong replacement for Vince Wilfork. Possibly the strongest, and best run defender in the draft. Mel Kiper had Brown ranked as the 12th most talended player in the draft, and the Patriots snagged him 20 picks later. The rich become richer with the Patriots selection of Malcom Brown.
