NFL fines Dominic Raiola $10,000 for throwing punch

Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola was fined $10,000 for unnecessary roughness by the NFL.

He was fined for hitting New England Patriots defensive lineman Zach Moore from behind with a punch.

He wasn't fined for his cut block on Moore on the final play of the game.

Raiola had said he wouldn't be fined, but he was incorrect.

" don't know about regrets," Raiola said. "I don't live life with regrets. I know I didn't intentionally try to hurt anybody. I didn't try to do anything out of the ordinary. I would have gotten a FedEx letter for that, so just play the game. I mean, I didn't make it a big deal. Everybody else did."

Lions defensive tackle C.J. Mosley was fined for hitting the Patriots' long snapper.
