NFL fines Randy Moss $25,000 for shutting out media

The NFL has a transparent media policy.

Players are expected to cooperate with the news media on a weekly basis.

Randy Moss chose to ignore the media in Minnesota over the last three weeks and as a result of it, a future pay check will be light $25,000. The NFL has fined the Vikings wide receiver that amount, according to Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Players are expected to be available once during the week and after games. Moss participated in an introductory press conference after his trade from the New England Patriots and since has made himself scarce. Who knows? Maybe Moss will be available a little more regularly now.
