NFL fines Stephen Tulloch $15,000

The hits keep coming for the Detroit Lions, in the form of fines.

The NFL has fined linebacker Stephen Tulloch $15,000 for a horse collar tackles of Oakland Raiders fullback Marcel Reece last week, according to Anwar Richardson of MLive.com. Previously, it was reported that defensive end Cliff Avril also received a $15,000 fine from that game for a horse collar infraction.

The fines keep adding up for Tulloch and the Lions. Last week, Tulloch was fined $10,000 for a late hit on Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder. So, that’s $25,000 earmarked for charities in two weeks.
