NFL suspends Giants linebacker Victor Butler for four games.
New York Giants linebacker Victor Butler was suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league policy on performance enhancing drugs.
Butler is a former Dallas Cowboys fourth-round draft pick.
He had 89 tackles and 11 sacks with the Cowboys.
He tore his anterior cruciate ligament in 2013.
Butler was with the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts last season.
He was signed to a reserve-future deal this offseason.
