NFL teams upbeat about Kendall Fuller, who visits Jets today, Panthers Wednesday, Lions last week

NFL teams are upbeat about the condition of Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller's knee following a medical recheck in Indianapolis. He visited the Detroit Lions last week, the New York Jets today and the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday, according to a league source. Fuller will be the fourth Fuller brother to play in the NFL, following Vincent Fuller, Corey Fuller and Kyle Fuller. Kendall Fuller was a freshman All-American and a second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection. He intercepted six passes as a freshman. He was a second-team All-American as a sophomore and first-team all-conference. He had two interceptions and 15 pass breakups. He tore the meniscus in his right knee, missing most of his junior season after undergoing surgery. For his career, he has eight interceptions and 34 passes deflected.
