NFL upholds Harrison suspension
The NFL announced Friday that Ted Cottrell has upheld the one-game suspension of Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison.
Harrison was hit with a one-game ban for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy, who is now out with a concussion.
Harrison had filed to have the appeal expedited quickly, and Cottrell gave his decision upholding the punishment levied against Harrison, who had been disciplined four previous times by the league with fines for questionable hits.
