NFL will pause to remember Friday's horrific killings in Connecticut
The NFL has asked all home teams to observe a moment of silence before games on Sunday following the tragic school shootings in Newtown, Conn., on Friday.
The New York Giants also announced they will wear a decal on their helmets to recognize what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary. The Giants play at Atlanta on Sunday.
The horrifying massacre of innocent people, most of them young children, touched all sectors of life. It’s evidence that many throughout the NFL have been shaken by the shootings.
