NFLPA files grievance on behalf of Josh Gordon

The NFL Players Association has filed a grievance on behalf of suspended Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon, according to ESPN. The grievance stems from a one-game suspension for the final game of last season. Per the report, the grievance was filed at the end of last week. Now, an independent arbitrator will rule on Gordon's situation. The suspension could stop Gordon from getting to free agency because an NFL player needs to be active for six games to have it count toward an accrued season. Gordon is suspended for the entire 2015 season after testing positive for alcohol. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
