After decommitting from Miami last September, Ath Jordan Cronkrite has signed with the University of Florida, adding to an impressive day for the Gators. Cronkrite chose to make Gainesville home over Miami and West Virginia.

Cronkrite is an interesting recruit as he is a very good running back as well as a talented safety. I wouldn't be surprised to see him on either side of the ball during his time with the Gators. He'll likely start at running back as Florida looks to compliment the backfield it already has in Kelvin Taylor and Adam Lane. Cronkrite joins fellow former Hurricane commit Jordan Scarlett as Scarlett committed to the Gators on Monday.
