No jail time for Lawrence Taylor
Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor, a man many credit with revolutionizing the way modern defenses are played, will have to register as a sex offender as part of a plea bargain he reached with prosecutors in Rockland County, N.Y.
Taylor, who faced charges after he was arrested with an underage prostitute last year, pled guilty to one count of patronizing a prostitute and one count of sexual misconduct, according to TMZ.com. Taylor was busted last May with a 16-year-old girl in a hotel room. Surprisingly, Taylor will not face any jail time.
Originally, Taylor faced a felony charge that carried with it a possible sentence of up to four years behind bars. He will have to register as a sex offender.
