Norfolk St. LB Deon King visits Cowboys, works out for Broncos, Raiders, 49ers, Colts, Redskins
Activity has been heating up for Norfolk State linebacker Deon King, the Buck Buchanan Award winner.
King has worked out privately for the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins and Indianapolis Colts and has a Dallas Cowboys visit, according to a league source.
King finished his career with 372 tackles, 52 1/2 tackles for losses, 22 sacks, five fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and three interceptions.
He's run the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds.
King was an All-American selection and a three-time all-conference selection.
King led the country with 163 tackles last season.
As a junior, King had 106 tackles and 7 1/2 sacks.
He had 18 1/2 tackles for losses and 9 1/2 sacks as a sophomore.
