North Carolina State DE Mike Rose ran 4.66 at Pro Day, met with Browns, Broncos, Jaguars, Colts, Chargers, 49ers
Snubbed for the NFL scouting combine after excelling at the East-West Shrine all-star game, North Carolina State defensive end Mike Rose likely boosted his draft stock at his Pro Day workout.
At 6-2 4/8, 261 pounds, Rose was clocked by NFL scouts at 4.66 in the 40-yard dash with a 7.47 three-cone drill, a 4.40 short shuttle, a 9-8 broad jump, a 33 1/2 inch vertical leap and bench pressed 225 pounds 17 times.
Rose had individual meetings with the San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos.
Rose had 51 tackles last season for the Wolfpack, 15 for losses, 10 1/2 sacks and forced two fumbles.

He had 46 tackles, 15 for losses as a junior and had five sacks. He had two sacks as a sophomore, blocking a punt as a freshman against Florida State to lead to a game-winning touchdown.
