Obama talks to RG-3 about 'protecting himself'
The man ultimately responsible for the defense of the nation talked to the quarterback of the team in the nation’s capitol about defending himself.
President Obama had a brief meeting with Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III during an East Regional NCAA Tournament game at the Verizon Center in D.C.
Griffin told Rich Campbell of the Washington Times that Obama spoke to him about “protecting himself” as he continues through rehabilitation from a torn ACL suffered in a January playoff loss. Griffin also suffered a concussion as a rookie and Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has made it a point of talking about how his electric quarterback needs to do a better job of getting rid of the ball or sliding to avoid contact in certain situations.
Sounds like Obama is preaching a similar message.
