One of the Visa ad guys is missing the Super Bowl

You know those old guys in the Visa ad that talk about never having missed a Super Bowl?

One of the four will not be at Cowboys Stadium tonight. Robert Cook, a Green Bay Packers fan from Brown Deer, Wis., will see his streak end at 44 Super Bowls.

The Associated Press reports that Cook fell ill on Thursday and has been hospitalized. In his place, his daughters will go with a large photo of their father to hold up. We’re assuming because part of his family is traveling to the game that Cook, 79, is not critically ill.

“To have the Packers go to the Super Bowl, we were just over the moon about it," said his wife, Sarah.
Cook, Patriots fan Donald Crisman, 49ers fan Larry Jacobson and Steelers fan Thomas Henschel created the "Never Missed a Super Bowl Club" when they learned about each one’s streak.
