Owen Daniels ruled out for Ravens-Bengals game
Owen Daniels' knee injury wasn't considered anything serious throughout this week. But on Friday, coach John Harbaugh announced that the veteran tight end will be unable to play this Sunday as a result of it.
Harbaugh told reporters that Daniels underwent an arthroscopic procedure and that he's been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Bengals. Rookie tight end Crockett Gillmore will step in and start for the Bengals this Sunday.
Daniels is the second Ravens' tight end to suffer an injury this season. Starter Dennis Pitta is out for the rest of the season after dislocating his hip earlier this year.
For the season, Daniels has 27 catches for 275 yards and three touchdowns.
