Pac will soon be back for Bengals
Adam "Pacman" Jones is nearly ready to return to the playing field for the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN.com.
The cornerback has been on the physically unable to perform list since the start of training camp, but will be eligible to be activated after week 6 this weekend. Jones underwent neck surgery in the off-season, and according to the report is said to be in good shape as he readies for his return.
Jones, who has been no stranger to trouble during his NFL career with multiple arrests and police interventions, and a year-long suspension in 2007, should be back in time for the Bengals' Oct. 30 game against Seattle.
The most interesting part of that dynamic is that Jones should be on the field when he makes a return visit to LP Field where the Bengals are scheduled to play the Titans on Nov. 6. That would mark his first return there since the Titans dealt him to Dallas in 2008 after tiring of the many antics and off-field issues that marked his time in Tennessee.
That clicking and banging you just heard is all the doors and windows in Nashville being locked and barricaded in anticipation of Jones' return.
