Packers expect Matt Flynn to start
Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters that the team expects backup quarterback Matt Flynn to start Sunday's game against the Steelers.
If so, it will be Flynn's fourth consecutive start. Flynn led the Packers to an improbable 37-36 comeback win over the Cowboys just a day ago.
However, Aaron Rodgers has not been ruled out for the game yet. McCarthy said there is a plan in place for Rodgers, which includes a medical evaluation Wednesday.
Rodgers has been out due to a broken collarbone that's taken longer to heal than expected. But with Flynn leading the Packers to two consecutive wins, the Packers might have enough of a comfort level to be conservative and continue to rest Rodgers.
