Packers land a big talent in defensive tackle Jerel Worthy
Jerel Worth, defensive tackle, Michigan State (6-3, 310)
Worthy isn’t a typical five-technique for most teams. However, he’s a perfect fit for the Packers. He possesses natural girth/strength in order to anchor. It’s his initial quickness and first step, which will allow him to knife through the C-gap and make plays in the backfield.
NFL Ceiling: “Plus” penetrating type five-technique
NFL Floor: Replaceable starter as five-technique
