Packers placing DuJuan Harris on IR

The Green Bay Packers are placing running back DuJuan Harris on injured reserve, according to coach Mike McCarthy.

Harris told reporters he injured his patellar tendon.

The Packers will go with rookie Eddie Lacy in addition to Alex Green, Johnathan Franklin and James Starks.

"I still have the same hunger," Harris said. "I’m going to keep the same hunger. I’m going to keep the same attitude and everything. After the surgery, I just have to work my butt off to get back to 100 percent and when I do, you’ll see me again. It’s definitely not the end of my career."
