Packers sign Matt Flynn, Seneca Wallace to IR
The Green Bay Packers made it official, signing quarterback Matt Flynn and placing quarterback Seneca Wallace on injured reserve with a groin injury.
Flynn, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound sixth-year player out of Louisiana State, was drafted by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL draft and played four seasons in Green Bay.
During his time with the Packers, he completed 82 of 132 passes (62.1 percent) for 1,015 yards and nine touchdowns with five interceptions for a 92.8 passer rating. Flynn played for Seattle in 2012 and spent time with Oakland and Buffalo this season. He will wear No. 10 for the Packers and WR Chris Harper will now wear No. 13.
Wallace played in two games for the Packers this season with one start and completed 16 of 24 passes for 139 yards with an interception.
