Packers to stick with Crosby

From Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com:

If you were hoping Green Bay would dump place-kicker Mason Crosby this week, you’re going to be disappointed. Packers coach Mike McCarthy made clear he plans no changes after Crosby missed a 34-yard field goal in Sunday’s 37-36 loss at Pittsburgh.

Crosby has missed five of his past 11 attempts, but McCarthy told reporters:

"I have all the confidence that Mason will fix the issue that he's had with missing the one kick a game. I know it doesn't do any good talking about it in here or publicly, but he's kicked the ball very well, and the two opportunities to make key field goals, he did not. They're technical things that he's fully capable of correcting, and that will be our focus. He's a very talented kicker, he's our kicker, he will be our kicker, and he will kick it through the uprights. That will be our focus as we move forward with him."
