Panthers re-sign Kyle Love

The Carolina Panthers re-signed defensive tackle Kyle Love to a one-year contract. Love was an unrestricted free agent who signed with the team in 2014. Love played in 15 games last season, starting twice. He had 19 tacklesa nd three sacks with one fumble recovery. An undrafted rookie out of Mississippi State in 2010, Love played his first three NFL seasons with the New England Patriots and was a starter in 2011 and 2012. Waived by the Patriots following the 2012 season after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, Love played sparingly for Kansas City and Jacksonville in 2013, and then he was out of football before the Panthers signed him in 2014.
