Panthers sign CFL pass rusher Alex Hall

The Carolina Panther signed Canadian Football League pass rusher Alex Hall.

Hall had 16 sacks last season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

He played collegiately at St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, N.C.

A former Cleveland Browns seventh-round draft pick, Hall has previous NFL experience with the Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants.

Hall worked out for the Minnesota Vikings during the season.

He was traded to Saskatchewan from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this season. He was named an East Division All-Star.
