Patrick Willis broke his hand
San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Wilis broke a bone n his right hand, according to multiple reports.
Willis' injury isn't regarded as severe enough to sideline him for long.
Willis is one of the top linebackers in the NFL, a strong, fast, aggressive tackler.
He should be fine by the season, but this is an injury he's dealt with in the past.
Willis has made the Pro Bowl for six consecutive seasons and recorded 120 tackles last season for the NFC champions.
Now, he's on the mend from an injury sustained early in training camp. It's a setback, but it's not something that should affect the 49ers' defense on a long-term basis.
