Patriots bring back Gerard Warren
The New England Patriots have officially brought back defensive lineman Gerard Warren and released Landon Cohen to make room on the roster, according to ESPN.com.
Warren, a 10-year veteran, was let go by the Patriots in September, but brought back in part because the team was having injury issues on the defensive line with Albert Haynesworth missing time with a back injury and Michael Wright having a concussion problem.
In addition, the Patriots have lost practice squad linebacker A.J. Edds, who has been signed to the Indianapolis Colts 53-man roster, according to ESPNBoston's Mike Reiss.
