Patriots cut Adrian Wilson

The New England Patriots are cutting veteran safety Adrian Wilson.

"Can't make the club in the tub," Wilson wrote on his official Twitter account.

Wilson leaves the team as the Patriots have signed safety Patrick Chung to a one-year contract.

Wilson, 34, tore his Achilles prior to the regular season last year.

Wilson was sigend to a three-year, $5 million contract last year.

Wilson was a standout with the Arizona Cardinals.
