Patriots cut Devin Gardner

The New England Patriots cut former Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner. The converted wide receiver was given a $15,000 signing bonus. The Patriots also cut linebacker Cameron Gordon. Gardner started 27 games at quarterback for Michigan and four starts at wide receiver. He had 44 touchdown passes and 6,366 passing yards.
