Patriots cut tight end Kyle Auffray
The New England Patriots have cut tight end Kyle Auffray just a week after he was signed.
The former New Hampshire tight end was with the Arizona Cardinals last year before being released prior to training camp.
The 6-foot-5, 254-pounder began his collegiate career at Mississippi State as a quarterback, but did not see any game action. He transferred to New Hampshire where he played in 16 games over two seasons.
Auffray played in 13 games with seven starts as a senior in 2010 and caught four passes for 34 yards. He also handled punting duties for New Hampshire as a senior.
