Patriots cut tight end Tim Wright

The New England Patriots cut veteran tight end Tim Wright. Wright caught 26 passes for 259 yards and six touchdowns last season. Six times in games he had no catches. The Patriots signed Scott Chandler this offseason, return Rob Gronkowski and Mike Hoomanawanui and have other tight ends on the roster. Wright was traded last year by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Patriots. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
