Patriots release receiver Price
The roster shuffling that has gone on with the New England Patriots for much of the season continued on Saturday when third-round pick Taylor Price was waived.
Price was the 90th player selected overall in the 2010 draft, taken from Ohio University, but was never able to find a regular role with the Patriots, even with the struggles of Chad Ochocinco.
Price had three catches for 41 yards as a rookie last season and had not caught a pass in three games in which he was active this season. Teams will have until Monday at 4 p.m. ET to claim Price off waivers.
