Patriots sign linebacker Josh Hull

The New England Patriots have signed former St. Louis Rams linebacker Josh Hull.

Hull, 26, spent last season with the Washington Redskins.

He played for the Rams for three seasons after being drafted in the seventh round in 2010 out of Penn State.

He was cut by the Rams last year and then signed by the Redskins in October.

Hull has played in 39 games with one start and has 25 career tackles.

He had 14 tackles last season.
