Patriots stave off Ravens to reach Super Bowl

Tom Brady, who was picked off twice by the Ravens, scored on a quarterback sneak on fourth-and-goal inside the 1 to put New England back in front, 23-20.

But the Ravens battled back, and questions all week about Joe Flacco's ability to stay poised in clutch situations, were answered as the fourth-year quarterback put Baltimore in position to at least tie and possibly win the game.

On second-and-goal Flacco threaded the needle with what should have been a go-ahead touchdown throw to Lee Evans, but at the last moment, Patriots cornerback Sterling Moore stripped the ball away for an incompletion.

Then on fourth-and-goal, Cundiff was wide left on a 32-yard attempt that foiled a chance at overtime. While Evans and Cundiff were being fitted for goat horns, the Patriots were being sized for their first AFC crown since the 2007 season.
