Patriots trade Justin Green to Cowboys for Ben Bass

The Dallas Cowboys traded defensive tackle Ben Bass to the New England Patriots in exchange for cornerback Justin Green, according to the Cowboys.

Green spent last year on the Patriots' practice squad with two games on the active roster.

He went undrafted out of Illinois.

Bass is a former undrafted free agent from Texas A&M. He played two games as a rookie in 2012 before spending last year on injured reserve.

Bass has had injuries at training camp this year, too.
