Pats' Welker leaves with left knee injury

The Patriots' go-to guy may be a no-go come playoff time.

Wes Welker, who leads the NFL in receptions, left the Patriots-Texans game in New England's first drive of the contest after going down with a left knee injury.

After grabbing a reception from Tom Brady along the left side, Welker's left leg slipped as he attempted to juke an oncoming defender. The receiver went down immediately and was carted into the locker room after a few minutes on the Pats' bench with a towel over his head and in obvious pain and frustration.
