Percy Harvin back for final day of Vikings minicamp
What a difference a day makes.
Perhaps Percy Harvin slept on it and realized the situation isn’t quite as dire as it seemed on Wednesday when reports circulated the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver had requested a trade.
Whatever the case, Harvin is back at work this morning for the final day of the team’s mandatory veteran minicamp. Vikings coach Leslie Frazier told KFAN-100.3 FM that Harvin returned to the club’s facility in Eden Prairie, Minn., according to Kevin Seifert at ESPN. Harvin will take part in the final practice before next month’s training camp.
Have Harvin’s issues been resolved? Who knows at this point. But he remains under contract to the Vikings for two seasons through 2013 and it would be difficult to envision to club trading one of its few playmakers. One source with knowledge of the situation said it was all overblown and that he isn’t too concerned.
If the Vikings have any luck, it will be little more than an old story by the time the team reports to training camp.
