Percy Harvin back on practice field for Vikings
Percy Harvin returned to practice on Tuesday and the shoulder surgery he had in late April cost him only three OTA workouts with the Minnesota Vikings.
But as Dan Wiederer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune points out, there interesting thing is hill sprints Harvin ran with running back Adrian Peterson, who is rehabilitating from a torn ACL. The video is available right here.
Harvin claims he won most of the races. But …
“I won eight out of 10. He won the last two,” Harvin said. “It's just crazy that those were the two that they recorded. Like I say, he's doing a great job. I was just out here to push him. It's always good to have that bunny in front of you kind of pushing you. So the drill was for him. He's doing an incredible job and I can't wait to see him back on the field."
Peterson is pushing to make it back before the season opener. That seems like wishful thinking but it’s too early to rule anything out.
