Percy Harvin not on the field in OTA's yet
Percy Harvin had what was described as minor shoulder surgery last month to clean out some bone spurs but he’s yet to get on the field.
The Minnesota Vikings are holding the wide receiver out of drills in OTA’s, according to Jeremy Fowler of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Harvin was not on the field for the club’s first OTA on Tuesday but is not expected to miss too much time.
Obviously, the Vikings are missing their top offensive weapon as running back Adrian Peterson is sidelined while he rehabilitates from a torn ACL. Harvin was the club’s top receiver last season and quarterback Christian Ponder will need him to take a step forward in 2012.
