Perry Fewell joins the mix for Tennessee job

If in-house candidates Mike Munchak and Mike Heimerdinger are favorites in Tennessee to replace Jeff Fisher as head coach, neither one will get the job without the Titans looking at some other hot names.

Add New York Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell to the list of men the Titans are considering for the job. Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reported that Tennessee has sought and received permission from the Giants to meet with Fewell.

He’s made the rounds this offseason and will be competing with Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey as well as New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. From the looks of things, Bud Adams is doing a comprehensive search to replace Fisher, who served the franchise so well for 16 full seasons.
