Peyton Manning's neck cleared in exam

All signs are positive for Peyton Manning, who underwent a medical exam on his neck on Monday.

According to a report from the Denver Post, Manning passed his physical, which is required from him contractually to guarantee his salary.

With the physical out of the way, Manning will now be able to receive the $20 million he's due in 2014.

Manning had offseason neck surgery in 2011, which forced him to miss the following regular season, which ended up being his last season with the Colts. He was released and signed with Denver before the 2012 season.

Manning led the Broncos to the Super Bowl, throwing a regular-season record 55 touchdowns in the process. But the Seahawks defeated Denver in the NFL's championship game 43-8.
