Pierre Thomas out for 2-3 weeks
The Saints will be without running back Pierre Thomas for the next two to three weeks due to a shoulder injury, according to a report from NFL.com.
That's bad news, of course, for the Saints' offense, which relies on Thomas as their receiving back out of the backfield. With Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson between-the-tackles runners, the Saints will likely turn to Travaris Cadet to fill the passing back role. Cadet has recorded 129 receiving yads and a touchdown over the previous three games.
This season, Thomas has rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns, while catching 26 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown.
