Plan C turns into Paris Lenon for Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals could not convince linebacker Karlos Dansby to re-sign with them after free agency opened. Then, they struck out on Larry Foote, who returned to Pittsburgh after a one-year sentence in Detroit.

Now, they’ve found some help on the street. Arizona announced that it has signed veteran Paris Lenon to a three-year contract. He comes over from the St. Louis Rams, where he played 15 games and made 10 starts last season. Lenon was with the Detroit Lions for the previous three seasons and was in training camp with New England last summer.

He’s an experienced veteran but isn’t going to bridge the talent gap the Cardinals suffered when Dansby departed in what has been a challenging offseason for Arizona.
